Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, store, and protect personal information.
Last updated: October 31, 2026
Scope
This Policy applies to alibel.net and to services offered under the Alibel brand and provided by Alibel Corporation C.A. (referred to as “Alibel” or “we”). Alibel Corporation C.A. is responsible for this Policy and the processing of personal information described in it.
Information we collect
- Identification and contact information, such as name, email, phone number, company and role.
- Information and files you provide to respond to inquiries or deliver contracted services.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser, operating system, visited pages and timestamps.
- Language preferences, settings and interactions with the website.
- Contracting, billing and support data; amounts, currency, transaction references, payment status, receipts, refunds and disputes, where applicable.
Roles and Customer responsibility
For services configured for a business, the Customer normally determines the purposes and means of processing its contacts’ and end users’ data and acts as controller or responsible party. Alibel processes that data as a service provider or processor, under the Customer’s instructions and to deliver the contracted features, except where Alibel must process information for its own security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance obligations.
The Customer is responsible for providing required notices, establishing a valid legal basis, retaining applicable consents or authorizations, handling data-subject requests, and complying with applicable laws and policies.
Purposes and legal bases
Depending on the relationship and applicable jurisdiction, processing may rely on performance of a contract, the Customer’s documented instructions, consent, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, or another permitted basis. Consent is not the only legal basis that applies to every processing activity.
- Provide, operate, and maintain services; respond to inquiries; and provide support.
- Configure integrations, automations, and communication services; transmit information; synchronize statuses; manage preferences; and troubleshoot errors.
- Manage contracts, collections, billing, security, auditing, fraud prevention, and operational continuity.
- Understand performance and improve content, usability, and security.
- Send relevant communications when consent, a contract, or an applicable prior relationship permits it.
- Meet legal obligations and valid requests from competent authorities.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use local storage and, where applicable, cookies for language, appearance, security and website operation. You can manage or delete this data through your browser settings. Third-party services opened through links, including payment services, may use their own technologies under their policies.
Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to address inquiries, provide services, manage payments and billing, document transactions, handle claims and comply with contractual, accounting, tax and legal obligations. Payment receipts, security records, audit records and backups may have different retention periods. When retention is no longer justified, information is deleted or anonymized in accordance with applicable obligations.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and operational review. No system is infallible, so safeguards are continuously evaluated and improved.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, update, object to, restrict, transfer, or delete personal information, and to withdraw consent when consent is the legal basis.
When Alibel processes information on behalf of a Customer, we may refer the request to that Customer or assist it because the Customer normally decides the purposes of processing. We may request reasonable information to verify identity and protect data before fulfilling a request.
Payment processing and third-party services
Payments may be handled through authorized payment providers. These providers process the data needed to authorize and execute the transaction under their own terms and privacy policies. Alibel may receive identification data, amount, currency, transaction reference and status as needed to confirm payments, issue receipts, reconcile transactions and handle refunds or disputes.
Other providers may support hosting, infrastructure, communication, support and integrations, depending on the contracted service.
Sharing and international transfers
We share necessary information with authorized providers to deliver services, process payments, manage billing and support, prevent fraud and maintain security. Some providers may process information in other countries, depending on the infrastructure and service used.
- Service providers receive only the information needed to provide hosting, infrastructure, communication, payments, billing or support.
- Information may be disclosed when required by law or a competent authority.
- Appropriate contractual and technical safeguards are used for international transfers when applicable.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age. We do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so it can be reviewed and removed.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect legal, technical, or business changes. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
